My 2013 approach to scrapbooking

I'm super excited to have completed my very first December daily album. When I first started the project I thought it was going to be a complete failure and I would not be able to keep up and that I would just quit halfway through the month. Two of the things that I believe helped me to keep on top of this project were one, printing my photos at home and two, having my embellishments and journaling cards ready before I sat down to scrap. I like printing my photos at home because sometimes the inspiration tends to leave me before I'm able to send my pictures out, get them printed and get them back home. Then they sit in the "to be scrapped" box for a indefinite period of time. Having my embellishments and journaling cards ready also saves me time because I'm not wandering around my craft room looking for embellishments and journaling spots to using my book.

That being said I'm now extremely inspired by my December daily book and would like to continue the process in 2013. To create these books, I followed this wonderful tutorial HERE. My plan is to scrap a picture a day in a journal or mini album type of book with just a journaling card and maybe a very simple embellishment to go along with it. For those days when I have more than one picture -like for some sort of event or occasion - my overflow pictures will go into the project life type of album. I'm excited for my updated scrapbooking process so stay tuned for updates and pictures!
